Sketchbooks are a passion. *
I use them to practice everything: drawing from imagination, drawing from reference, oil pastels, gouache painting, design & composition, creativity. I really design them with a future viewer in mind, and so I try to make them as interactive as possible with pop-ups, hidden drawings and interesting textures. There are lots of recurring characters, and as you get to older sketchbooks, you can see my style mature—I think it’s pretty cool.
